Join bee expert Dr Fred Ayres from Lune Valley Beekeepers for a fun, interactive session all about the secret life of honey bees!

Fred has spent years watching bees, listening to bees, and even learning their dance moves (yes, bees really do dance!). He’ll take us on a journey inside the hive, showing us how bees talk, how they find their way using the sun, and how they help to grow our food through something called pollination.

You’ll learn:

• Who lives in a hive and what they all do

• How bees talk, sing and dance

• Why bees are so important to flowers, fruits and vegetables

• What you can do to help bees where you live

This event is buzzing with facts, fun, and a whole lot of wonder. Perfect for curious kids, budding nature lovers, and anyone who’s ever watched a bee and wondered what it was up to.

We'll provide a light snack where you'll get to sample some local honey and a selection of drinks will be available for you to enjoy.
