Butterfly Effect CIC Info Evening - Get Involved in 2026!

Join us for an informal and welcoming morning at Land + Sea Lancaster as we share what’s been happening this year and look ahead to our exciting plans for Butterfly Effect CIC in 2026.

Thanks to support from FoodFutures Lancaster’s Pots of Possibility grant, we’ve been able to launch a small market garden, host a series of community suppers, and begin developing a community fridge.

We’re also delighted to share that we’ve recently secured National Lottery funding through the Awards for All grant scheme, which will help us deliver new activities designed to get more people engaging with, learning about, and connecting to their food. We’ll be talking more about these plans during the meet up!

What to Expect

This is a relaxed Info Evening, you’ll have the chance to:

• Learn more about our projects, including how we’ll be using new National Lottery funding

• Explore volunteer opportunities (from helping at community suppers to supporting the garden and outreach work)

• Visit our space and get a feel for what we do

• Share your ideas and help shape future activities

• Connect with others who care about food, community, and positive local impact

We’ll also be sharing more about our plans for 2026 and ways you can get involved, whether you’d like to share your skills, gain new ones, or simply meet like-minded people.
