🦋 A Butterfly Effect CIC Event 🦋

A  seasonal community meal to celebrate food and the seasons. A home cooked communal meal, using ingredients grown from the edible garden, locally sourced or any surplus food from local garden gluts, as well as anything that needs using up.  This is an opportunity to come and enjoy a tasty nutritious meal, meet new people in your local community and have some fun. This is a relaxed and friendly space and anyone and everyone is welcome. Whether you’re a keen cook, a grower, or just want to share a meal, there’s a seat at the table for you.

This event is part of our Butterfly Effect CIC project, whereby we believe that small actions that create ripples of positive change in local communities and is part funded from a Food Futures, Pots of Possibility Grant which has enabled us to set up the garden and support the delivery costs of these gatherings.

Pay What You Feel (suggested £15+) Your donation goes towards ingredients and future events.

Community Ticket – Free (for anyone who needs it, no further mention and no questions asked)

Limited spaces – book your place and come hungry and if you have any food growing or garden glut you'd like to share please get in touch with us before hand and let us know and we'd love to incorporate this into the menu.

❗️If you’re no longer able to attend, please do let us know as soon as possible. A three-course meal is being specially prepared for you, so no shows are always a little disappointing for us, and we’re always keen to avoid any unnecessary food waste. ❗️

Want to help out?  We would absolutely love to hear from you if you'd be interested in supporting the delivery of these community suppers, anything from helping to serve food, wash up, or prepare and cook food, to helping us wash up. ❗️ Dietary Requirements Notice ❗️

As this event is focused on community building and home-style cooking, we unfortunately don’t have the capacity to cater for specific dietary requirements. We are happy to offer a vegetarian option, but this must be selected at checkout.

You’re welcome to enquire about the menu in advance, however we’re very sorry that we’re unable to accommodate vegan, gluten-free, or other allergen-specific requirements, or guarantee against cross-contamination at this time.

• Children are welcome and well behaved dogs on leads are also welcome

• There will be table water and tea and coffee included. For all other drinks we operate a small contactless drinks bar so if you'd like to purchase a drink while you're here or we don't mind if you BYO

• We close sign ups the day before to help us prepare the right amount of food, however if you're a last minute booking we may be able to squeeze you in so please contact hello@landandsealancaster.com

• Please note this event is not the same format as our Untamed Supper Club.
