This event is being held in collaboration with Windermere Science Festival in our rustic Out Barn over the flicker of candlelight with the roaring fire as the backdrop, we welcome guests to come alone or come with friends, everyone is welcome.

About Dr Kathryn Harkup

A former chemist turned author, Kathryn specialises in the fascinating crossover between science, literature, and pop culture. Her work dives into poisons, monsters, spies, and the darker edges of scientific discovery. She’s as happy explaining how fictional toxins work as she is helping you plot your own (entirely hypothetical) world takeover, or defending yourself from poisoners and the undead.
